Hi!  I am Monica and I live on a sweet, little homestead named Fern Hill Farm with more animals than humans. Which is how we Love it.     

Rhode Island is the smallest state in the country!! How about that!  I think we can fit ourselves in Texas 221 times!  Rhode Island has more coastline than not and we can travel from north to south in about about 40 minutes. It takes about an hour to travel east to west.   Here is a warm welcome to New England and a small introduction to my life.

I am a mother to two children 21 and 13!  My son, Ethan just turned 21 and is spending his days working alongside his step father and enjoying not being in school at the moment.       My daughter, Natalie attends our one and only local Waldorf School.  Waldorf education is a most soulful experience and has nurtured her in just the right way.  It goes right along with our holistic, seasonally inspired and spirit filled lifestyle over here on our 3 acre homestead.

My spouse is Ed we have a long history together and have been together again for the past 17 years, (we actually went to his senior prom together).    He is an arborist with a “small” Tree business, Top Notch Tree and Top Notch he is.   He is so good at what he does, all aspects of it.   I help Ed with the back end of his business.  We love our family together and try hard at spending fun times together amist all of everyone and everything else’s needs.   And…. then there is me!

I have a college degree in Graphic Design.    I gave birth to my daughter one month after I graduated college so I never entered the corporate field of Graphic Design but having that degree has always come in handy.  I love to CREATE and I HAVE to learn new things weekly; no exaggeration!  I can photograph your family, your business, your event. I can pretty much sew anything . I can make you beautiful ceramic ware.  I can also weave you some napkins to go with that!  I can make you beautiful handmade cards or signs with my knowledge and love of modern calligraphy.  I can also add to your wardrobe accessories by making you fun earrings.     I am also a Reiki Master helping you shift your energy to a more positive frequency.   I love to hear, learn, and experience all things spiritual and can read your tarot cards for fun.    I am also a certified Life Coach, I can work with you for weeks/months to help figure out how to navigate this wild world just a little bit smoother and less stressful.

I try to keep a balance of excitement and simple.   In this blog I will be sharing about all the things that go on in my days via the seasons.  There is also a link to shop the earrings I make and some other bits and bobs.

One more thing, although Rhode Island is small it has BIG beauty, history and fun, all of which I will be sharing with you too. So I welcome you into my world and to the small beauty of New England ‘s “cutest little state”
